While life-safety operations are carried out by first responders, our team advises organizations on what to document, what to protect, and how to position your claim from the very first day. We coordinate with your team to ensure nothing eligible is missed.

We manage every stage of the FEMA Public Assistance lifecycle — from disaster registration and damage assessments through project formulation, obligation tracking, and federal closeout. Our team ensures your organization's scope of work does not overlap with that of other federal agencies, and we maintain active liaison with FEMA, HUD, DOT, and the Department of Environmental Protection throughout the process.

Incomplete or incorrectly scoped project worksheets are the leading cause of reimbursement shortfalls and costly amendments. We develop and review all Project Worksheets (PWs), ensuring eligible scope is fully captured, cost estimates are defensible, and special considerations like codes, standards upgrades, and inter-agency scope boundaries are identified.

When FEMA denies or reduces a project, you have the right to appeal — but success requires a detailed understanding of policy, precedent, and proper procedure. Our team prepares First and Second Appeals and supports applicants through FEMA's Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process.

Grant closeout is where poorly documented projects unravel. We conduct pre-closeout audits, reconcile obligated vs. expended amounts, compile final documentation packages, and prepare clients for state and federal monitoring visits — ensuring every dollar received is defensible.
